Summary of The Student
Albom goes on in Tuesdays with Morrie and explains his own adventures after graduating from college. His 44 year old uncle whom he had looked up to his entire life got pancreatic cancer and died, the author never feels the same afterwards. He never stayed in touch with his old professor and had taken a job in Detroit as a sports writer. Over time he began to write books and be on television talking about sports. He had lost touch with all his friends from college “[s]o [he] did not know of Morrie’s illness.”
