Plot Summary of Tuesdays with Morrie
Tuesdays with Morrie is a memoir of Morrie Schwartz, a long time professor at Brandeis University. The story begins by telling the background to the story, who is Morrie, who is Mitch, how are they connected. After 16 years they are reunited, but this time Morrie has a deadly disease called ALS. When Morrie has months left to live, Mitch revisits him once a week, always on Tuesday, at Morrie's house in West Newton, Massachusetts for the rest of Morrie's life. During Morrie's last months, Mitch learned much of his knowledge about life and how most people in the country are occupied by greed to notice life. After Morrie dies, Mitch goes to his funeral and can remember Morrie's words and can make his own conversation with him, because it is Tuesday.
