Summary of The Curriculum
Albom begins his story Tuesdays with Morrie by describing the class he is taking with his former college professor. The class he is taking meets every Tuesday and the subject is The Meaning of Life. Instead of a graduation at the end of the class, there was a funeral. The author completes his explanation with “[t]he last class of my old professor’s life had only one student. I was the student.” The author then flashbacks to his college graduation at Brandeis University. His professor Morrie Schwartz talks to him a little and “asks if [he] will stay in touch.”
