Summary of The Twelfth Tuesday
Albom continues Tuesdays with Morrie by describing his twelfth meeting with Morrie and they talk about forgiveness. Morrie says to “[f]orgive yourself before you die. Then forgive others.” Morrie is very pained about a friend of his named Norman. Over the years he had lost touch with him and when Norman died of cancer, Morrie never got to forgive him. After, Morrie explains that you need to forgive yourself as well. The author asks how and Morrie says “[f]or all the things we didn’t do. All the thing we should have done.”
