Summary of The Tenth Tuesday
Albom visits Morrie for the tenth time in Tuesdays with Morrie. This Tuesday the author brings his wife, Janine, to meet Morrie. Coincidentally this Tuesday they talk about marriage and how it helps you survive because as Morrie said before, “[l]ove each other, or perish.” Morrie and Janine talk together as if they’ve known each other for years. Morrie finds out that she sings for a living and asks her to sing him a song. Unlike the many other people who ask her sing, she sings a song to Morrie. Many people have problems with marriage because they either dive in to fast or wait too long.
