Summary of The Eighth Tuesday
Albom continues Tuesdays with Morrie with his eighth visit to Morrie. This Tuesday they talk about money and how it affects society. Money makes people greedy and they don’t focus on life. Morrie states, “[w]e put our values in the wrong things. And it leads to very disillusioned lives.” The author then explains about how Morrie’s illness is getting worse, he now has good and bad days, luckily he is having a good day. Albom realizes that with money, Morrie hasn’t bought anything new in years.
